I've spent 30 years at the intersection of leadership, organization-building, and mission-driven work.

My career began in engineering – I hold a Master of Science in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from USC, Cum Laude. For two decades I worked in R&D and executive roles across Silicon Valley, directing global operations and progressing from product development through organizational leadership, scaling companies from inception to national reach.

In 2007 I stepped into the nonprofit sector as a founder. What I found was a world full of talented, mission-driven people – and a chronic shortage of the leadership infrastructure they needed to succeed. I built my first organization from the ground up, raised over $20 million across individuals, corporations, foundations, and government entities, and learned firsthand what it takes to lead a growing nonprofit with limited resources and high stakes.

That experience shapes everything I do today.

Through Burlingham Advisory, I work with leaders and organizations across three areas: coaching for individuals who want to grow, board services for organizations that need stronger governance, and fundraising consulting for nonprofits ready to build a development program that lasts.

I've lived and worked across four continents – Ghana, Iran, England, the United States, Germany, China, and South Africa – and that multicultural perspective informs how I work with clients. Leadership doesn't look the same everywhere. Neither does the path forward.

What stays constant is my belief that every person and every organization has more capacity than they realize. My job is to help you find it.
